I am in favour of salvage cranes.

While cargo pods would be beneficial I think salvage cranes along with jump inhibitors would open up the game to more dimension in combat for both jobs and PvP. I see cargo pods as more of an enhancement to current transporting options and salvage cranes as the opener to entirely new gameplay.

For hybrid combat/transport missions a Rapier at MC C3 would be required but with the Javesco Freighter at LC C1, Light Class players have access to a ship that would be suitable for non combat salvaging and not require cargo pods.




There was a lot of player support for salvage cranes and because it would have a much deeper benefit for players I voted in favour of it.

The vote has passed 4-5 in favour of salvage cranes.
