New Site Features

I have edited some of the profile fields. I am reminding players that they can share their additional contact info such as Skype or their usernames for other gaming networks like Open Feint or Plus+.

New Site Feature: Commonwealth Twitter News

Also you will notice the twitter feed on the left. Twitter is commonly used to express and share short messages such as news that a person finds interesting. It is an easy way to share game recommendations without cluttering the rest of the site.

I will be 'tweeting' game achievements using Open Feint or other social gaming services or to highlight fun iOS games. These messages give you links to the game developers site and the iTunes link. Also I will manually tweet about iOS sales or other news.

The widget allows for multiple Twitter accounts to be displayed and filtered. Anyone else who wants to share anything in the feed PM me your Twitter username and you will be added.

Also I am adding a mobile CW site. To check it out click the iPhone button at the top. Its a work in progress but I hope to build the forums into it.

I am still looking at ways to integrate the forums more with the mobile site but it is off to a good start.

Theres a widget on the forum sidepanel and a page in the mobile site to view a collaborative online photo album. Anyone who wants to be given access to add their own shots PM me your email adress.

The Public Area has been cleaned up & reorganized. Now most of the posts here will be within a single forum, the News Central.

I have added a main site portal so that browsing the forums doesn't get slowed down by widgets. In the portal you can view the feed from twitter, buzz and picasa that I set up along with a news feed on the most recent posts in the News Central forum. Also the faction recruitment signs are presented there to help navigate those interesting in joining to the recruitment threads.


The house cleaning and updates are completed. Time to play again.

The mobile site now has the News Central forum from this site.

Also for the fans of CW Chronicles I am finishing volume II, should be up shortly.
